Leslie Watts Portrait Chrystia Freeland

Chrystia Freeland's portrait for Rhodes House, Oxford, UK by Stratford artist Leslie Watts.
Last fall Leslie received a commission from the RP (Royal Society of Portrait Painters) in the UK: a portrait of Canada's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Chrystia Freeland, for Rhodes House in Oxford. The portrait is now hanging above the Head Table in Milner Hall, alongside Nelson Mandela, Cecil Rhodes, and the Second Century founders. We are delighted to share these photos of the painting as Leslie photographed it before sending it to Oxford, and as it now looks in its frame at Rhodes House.

Tanya Zaryski

Tanya Zaryski's rendering of "Spring Fields" looks very much like the countryside around Stratford these days. We hope that very soon some green will start to appear!

Vic Roschkov

London, Ontario artist, Vic Roschkov's watercolour paintings of rural Ontario in winter capture the starkness of the landscape in the first two paintings of farm buildings but the hopeful first signs of spring in the final picture.
